Main Objective
Connect every lead source so enquiries are handled instantly and tracked through to the sale.
CodeCrackers connected a UK solar installer's ads, website, CRM and surveyor diaries through APIs. Every new lead now lands in the CRM instantly, gets a reply within minutes and can book a survey online. The ad platforms also learn which leads actually become sales.

The client is a solar panel and battery storage installer in the South East, with 30 staff and five surveyors. It wins most of its work through Facebook and Google ads, its website and home improvement comparison sites.
Leads arrived in four different places and were copied into the CRM by hand, often hours later. Surveys were booked by phone, and nobody could tell which ads actually produced sales. The directors asked CodeCrackers to connect everything so every lead was handled instantly.
Connect every lead source so enquiries are handled instantly and tracked through to the sale.
Faster response, more surveys booked and lower cost per sale.
The business had strong demand and a skilled team, but four connected problems were letting good leads slip away. Each one made the others worse.
Leads arrived through Facebook, Google, the website and comparison sites, each in a different inbox or dashboard.
Leads missed or entered twice.
Leads were copied into the CRM by hand, so many waited hours for a first reply.
Leads went to faster competitors.
Surveys were booked by phone, and it often took several calls to find a time that suited both customer and surveyor.
Fewer surveys booked.
The ad platforms only saw form fills, not which leads became sales, so budgets chased cheap, poor-quality leads.
Ad spend wasted on weak leads.
What the client wanted to achieve: one connected system where every lead lands in the CRM instantly and gets an immediate reply. Leads would book their own surveys online, and the ad platforms would hear about every lead that became a sale.
Before writing any code, we followed leads from every source through to a signed contract, timing each step along the way.
We traced leads from each source into the CRM, timing how long each one waited and finding where some were lost altogether.
We reviewed the Meta, Google Ads, Pipedrive, calendar and SMS APIs to confirm exactly what each could send and receive.
We spoke with the sales team and surveyors about how they followed up leads and what slowed them down.
The team already liked their CRM and ad platforms, so connecting them properly was faster and cheaper than replacing them.

A structured seven-week approach kept every stage transparent and on time. Select a stage to see what happened.
We started by following leads from every source through to a signed contract. We then agreed the priorities with the directors and the sales team.
Drag the handle to compare how leads were handled before and after the integration.

Both views are illustrations: the “before” shows the old way of working, the “after” shows the new system. Client data is not shown.
Four connected workstreams, each one solving a specific part of the challenge.
Leads from Facebook Lead Ads, Google Ads forms, the website and comparison sites arrive in Pipedrive within seconds. Duplicates are merged automatically, and each lead is assigned by postcode.

Every new lead gets a personal text and email straight away, and the assigned salesperson gets an alert to call. If the lead doesn't reply, follow-ups go out automatically.

Leads choose a survey slot online from real surveyor availability near them. Bookings go straight into the surveyor's calendar and Pipedrive, and reminders are sent automatically.

When a deal is won in Pipedrive, the sale is sent back to Meta and Google Ads automatically. The ad platforms then look for more people like real customers, not just form fillers.

The finished survey booking page, customer messages and live lead dashboard on desktop and mobile.

Hover over a screen and scroll through the product screens.
Measured results in the first 90 days after launch.
Average time to first reply, cut from over three hours to under five minutes.
Compared with the previous quarter, from a similar number of leads.
Ad spend per installation sold, after sales data was sent back to the ad platforms.
Connecting every lead source, the CRM and the ad platforms meant no enquiry was left waiting. Leads get a reply in minutes and book their own surveys, and the ad budget now goes towards people who actually buy.
“We were losing good leads simply because we couldn't reply fast enough. CodeCrackers connected our ads, website and CRM so every enquiry gets an answer in minutes. Customers book their own surveys, and our ads now bring in people who actually buy.”
